How long will this take?

On average, estates that fall within our fixed fees receive the Grant of Probate in 4-6 months. Full Estate Administration cases typically take 8-12 months: obtaining the Grant takes 4-6 months, including submitting the Inheritance Tax Account to HMRC, collecting assets takes around 2 months, and distributing assets normally takes 2-4 months, longer where Inheritance Tax is payable as HMRC clearance is needed first.
